Teaching Staff
Our teaching staff is dedicated to making the Adventure Learning Center a positive, Christ-centered learning experience for preschoolers. Our dedicated team of teachers strive to make their classrooms fun and enjoyable for our students. They work hard to make sure benchmark standards have been met and to insure each child is ready to continue their education once they graduate from our program.
Curriculum
The Adventure Learning Center utilizes the Christian-based Weekday Early Education Curriculum (WEE). This curriculum reflects the children’s natural learning and is integrated across the five primary areas of development: social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. This is accomplished through classroom learning, outdoor activities, games and center play. Your child will participate in a variety of learning activities which include art, reading, blocks, puzzles, manipulatives, science, nature, music and dramatic play. Social skills are developed through sharing, taking turns, thinking, reasoning, and problem solving. Bible stories and verses are included in each teaching unit.
Chapel
Chapel is held each Thursday morning for our 3-year-old through Pre-K classes. Our Children’s Pastor, Travis Young, brings the stories of the Bible alive to our preschoolers through his weekly teaching. Over a child’s two- year window of Chapel, they will be introduced chronologically to the 64 primary stories of the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. Chapel is taught with creativity and excitement. Your children will come home recounting what they have learned in Chapel each week. They should be able to answer a series of questions about the lesson you will receive each week.

We would love the opportunity to give you a tour of our facility. Please call the number below to schedule a time that is convenient for you.
Potty Training
Students in our 3- & 4-year-old classes must be fully potty trained for admittance. By definition, “potty trained” means that they are wearing underwear (not pull-ups) and do not need much assistance in the bathroom. We realize that accidents do occasionally occur.
