One Way
No matter what you see, read, or hear through the many forms of media available today, there is only one real solution for all of life's questions and problems: a personal relationship with the God who created us.
The Bible tells us that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Because of sin, we are separated from God and are spiritually dead.
Because God loves us, He has provided a way for us to have a personal love relationship with Him. John 3:16 says, "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." God sent His Son, Jesus, who lived a perfect life, to die on the cross as payment for our sin.
By accepting the gift of Jesus and His death for us on the cross, we can connect with God and be empowered by Him. We can have a love relationship with Him that is personal and permanent. Even death cannot sever it.
If you are ready to make this choice, simply pray a prayer like this one:
Dear God, I understand that I'm a sinner, but I believe Jesus died for my sins, and I now accept His gift of eternal life. Thank You for forgiving my sins. Thank You for my new life. From this day on, I choose to follow You and Your will for my life.
