New Christian Classes for Children
New Christian classes are held periodically to help children ages 7 to 12 and their parents prepare for baptism at East Side. The class is called Now That I'm a Christian and lasts four weeks, covering topics such as:
- Assurance of Salvation
- Baptism
- The Lord's Supper
- How to Have a Quiet Time
Children make a memory box to keep all of the items associated with their salvation and baptism. Each child also receives an interactive study guide to use daily for the four weeks of classes. Once the classes are completed, children and their parents receive a one-on-one visit with a Children's Ministry staff member to celebrate the decision to follow Jesus in baptism.
New classes are held several times each year and meet at 10:45am on Sundays. To preregister your child, please call the church office at 479-452-1481.
