Missions/Evangelism


As disciples of Jesus we strive to make more disciples for Him through individual and group evangelism efforts.

  • Weekly Visitation: Teams make visits/calls to people who visit East Side, welcoming them, answering any questions they might have, and praying with them. Our team members have been trained using the FAITH Evangelism Strategy.
  • Community Outreach: Volunteers travel to apartment complexes, nursing home & detention centers, taking Bible studies, activities for children, and worship services to people where they are.
  • Mission Trips: Mission trips are a way of life at East Side, with mission teams either leaving or returning all through the year. Locations range from places in Arkansas and other states to countries all over the world. Senegal, Ecuador, Canada, Colombia, and Ukraine are just a few of the countries where East Siders have done missions.
