We seek to minister to members of our church family at every point of need, whether it involves a death in the family, illness, or personal crisis. Through all stages of life, you can find help and hope at East Side. And if you have a heart of compassion and want to minister to others, please look at the areas of service below and prayerfully consider joining a team.

Bereavement: This ministry team delivers meals to church members who have lost a loved one, serves at meals before or after the funeral service, provides child care during the funeral, etc.

Hospital: Personal visits and phone calls are made to church members who are in the hospital.

Homebound: Our members who are homebound or living in a nursing home are visited regularly and given Bible study literature.

Stepparenting Support: Couples in "blended families" receive help in their marriage relationships and parenting skills.

Widow Support (Encouragers): Women who have lost their spouses through death, divorce, or abandonment meet together monthly for encouragement, support, and fellowship.

Jail Ministry: East Side members minister to people who are incarcerated in the Juvenile Detention Center and Sebastian County Jail. They lead worship services and Bible studies for the inmates.

S.O.S. (Single-Parent Outreach Services): East Side cooperates with several area churches to provide monthly services and resources for single working parents. Check out their website at singleparentoutreachservices.com.
